Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team in Woodridge, IL. You'll report to the Pharmacy Manager and provide clinical care for home infusion patients, ensuring safe and effective drug therapy.

As a core team member, you will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and distribution, maintain thorough documentation, and support regulatory compliance. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm with competitive pay, benefits, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy is required; a Doctor of Pharmacy is preferred.
• Active Pharmacist license in state(s) of practice.
• Minimum of two years in acute-care or one year in home infusion.
• Experience with compounding infused drugs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor drug therapy for home care patients with clinicians.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Coordinate referrals and admissions with nurses and distribution.
• Review and verify new patient orders and document.
• Assist physicians with patient care planning and monitoring.
• Maintain documentation of activities and logs.
• Oversee pharmacy technician functions as required.
