Job summary

Kennebec Pharmacy & Home Care is seeking a dedicated pharmacist specializing in home infusion in a non-retail clinical role. Training will be provided; sterile compounding experience is a plus.

The position supports patient care through dispensing, clinical consultations, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Responsibilities include coordinating admissions, IV therapy consultations, and ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across services.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree or PharmD required or equivalent.
• Must hold current Maine Pharmacist license.
• Experience with sterile compounding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide clinical consultation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support technicians in medication preparation and dispensing.
• Maintain quality assurance, security of controlled substances, inventory, and waste disposal.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support patient care needs.
• Counsel patients and providers on medication use, interactions, and storage.
