Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Infusion Pharmacy in Roseville, MN seeks a licensed Pharmacist to dispense unit doses, IVs and specialty meds, and to oversee safe handling of sterile products.

You will work 8-hour daytime shifts with on-call rotation, review orders, coordinate with clinicians, and ensure regulatory compliance, patient education, and accurate dispensing across the patient care team.

Qualifications

• Solid drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge.
• Knowledgeable in various infusion related therapies with ability to work through complex orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to document orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV and related supplies per regulations.
• Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders with education materials.
• Review medication orders for accuracy and age-specific considerations.
• Provide patient care plans and monitor therapy alongside the health care team.
• Communicate with patients and clinicians to align on therapy outcomes.
