Qualifications

• Permanent residence within a commutable distance to Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Responsibilities

• Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following regulations.
• Compound medications in sterile/ventilated environment and prepare orders for shipping.
• Process, pack and ship pharmacy orders with education materials.
• Perform inventory, storage and refrigeration of drugs and related supplies.
• Review medication orders for appropriateness and complete orders accurately.
• Provide oversight of pharmaceutical care safety and effectiveness for patients.
• Communicate with patient, physicians, nurses and team regarding status and therapy goals.
• Compound IV and specialty meds aseptically per guidelines and policy.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Board, OSHA; supervise staff as needed.
• Interpret prescriptions, check coverage, and manage data in the computer system.
