Job summary

Lone Star Oncology is seeking a Registered Nurse - Infusion to provide safe, accurate patient care across infusion services. You will assess patients, review labs and vitals, verify doses and administer medications per orders, while following JBI and OSHA/NIOSH guidelines.

Responsibilities include educating patients and caregivers, triage calls, and maintaining comprehensive EMR documentation. Must work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and an unencumbered RN license in the state of employment or multi-state license.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle for travel to other clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, supportive care, and non-oncologic agents to patients as ordered by providers.
• Educate patients and caregivers about medications, side effects and planned treatment course.
• Perform triage and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams across locations.
• Document treatment in EMR accurately and ensure appropriate charges are captured.
