Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a registered nurse for hematology/oncology infusion. This role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based practice, and adherence to professional standards within a busy oncology setting.

The RN will provide compassionate patient care, coordinate with the care team, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining regulatory compliance. DC RN license and CPR are required.

Formación

• Registered Nurse in District of Columbia (Required).
• ASN or BSN (Preferred).
• 1 year RN experience (Required).
• 2 years hem/onc experience (Preferred).
• CPR certification required.
• APHON chemo/bio provider (Preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver nursing care per scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Maintain regulatory licenses and participate in mandatory education.
• Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication.
• Escalate issues using the chain of command as needed.
• Ensure safe handoffs and collaboration with the care team.
• Promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
