McFarland Clinic is seeking a full-time RN-Infusion Nurse in Ames, IA. The role focuses on delivering infusion care, chemotherapy administration, and patient education within a collaborative hematology/oncology team.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Iowa RN license and BLS. Oncology experience and OCN certification are preferred; travel to outreach locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Health Care Providers.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administer IM and SQ injections and immunizations.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, biologic medications, and other infusion therapies.
• Provide telephone triage and patient education related to treatments and disease management.
• Assist physicians with clinical and clerical duties associated with patient care.
• Travel with oncologists to outreach clinic locations as needed.
