Job summary

Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, Montana is seeking an Oncology/Infusion Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients across age groups with varying acuity. The RN evaluates the nursing process, documents in the EMR, directs patient care activities, and collaborates with staff and providers to monitor patient conditions.

Role includes participation in quality and performance improvement projects, with a PRN, as-needed schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN or ADN, Montana or compact license per Montana Board of Nursing Regulations. License in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation.
• ACLS within one year of hire, PALS, ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certified or within one year of hire
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer Skills/EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuity across the age spectrum.
• Evaluates the nursing process and documents findings in the EMR.
• Directs patient care activities, collaborates with ancillary staff and communicates with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement projects.
