Job summary

Compass Oncology, part of The US Oncology Network, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Infusion Oncology care team at the West Cancer Center in Tigard, OR. The role offers 32 hours per week (.8 FTE) with a competitive hourly salary and oncology-focused responsibilities.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, managing patient flow, assessing changes in condition, administering medications, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Oregon and Washington RN licensure must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card preferred; active BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with exams and procedures.
• Maintains efficient patient flow in exam rooms.
• Assesses patients for changes in condition and initiates actions.
• Calculates and administers medications and IV therapies per protocol.
• Documents nursing assessments and teaching in patient chart.
• Communicates interventions to the physician and updates chart.
