Job summary

Premier Health Partners is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for the Infusion/Oncology Department at Atrium Medical Center. The role focuses on coordinating care, managing registrations, and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced outpatient infusion setting.

The PCC will handle scheduling, data entry, insurance verification, and basic patient assistance under RN supervision, ensuring patient privacy and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma; related coursework acceptable.
• Experience in medical/clinical reception or patient coordination is preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital registration, scheduling and insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all incoming calls and manage patient flow in the Infusion/Oncology area.
• Enter patient data and charges into the hospital system accurately.
• Schedule appointments and registrations; verify insurance and obtain pre-authorizations when needed.
• Prepare patient charts and assist with basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support interdepartmental communication.
