Job summary

Shea Online is seeking a Registered Nurse – Infusion for Elmhurst Cancer Center in Elmhurst, IL. The RN will provide high‑quality, goal‑directed nursing care for infusion patients and families, across standard injection therapies, infusion therapy, and research protocols.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with 8‑ or 10‑hour days; weekends are on call and holidays rotate among staff. Per diem Level 3 requires 111–144 hours every 6 weeks, with on‑call coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a staff nurse.
• 1 year of professional infusion, hematology/oncology experience preferred.
• Current Illinois Nursing licensure (required).
• CPR Certification through American Heart Association (required).
• Current Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for infusion center patients.
• Proficient in vascular access care, maintenance and management.
• Safely prepare mixes, handle and administer injectables and infused agents.
• Document thoroughly and timely while maintaining safety precautions.
• Guide and supervise staff in provision of patient care.
• Promote safety and participate in research opportunities when available.
