Qualifikationen

• Current NY RN license required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing, Oncology and IV Therapy preferred.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide parenteral therapy to stable adult outpatients in hospital-based infusion center.
• Administer medications/IV solutions per policy; consult resources as needed.
• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education; assess teaching effectiveness.
• Facilitate patient care; delegate tasks; act as charge RN; demonstrate organization and prioritization.
