Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary’s Infusion Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee infusion services and ensure optimal pharmacotherapeutic care.

You will collaborate with clinical teams, participate in rounds, counsel patients, and contribute to diverse services across medicine, ICU, oncology, and outpatient care. The role requires a PharmD or BS with PGY training, state license, and hospital pharmacy experience; travel between Chicago, Evanston, and Skokie may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• Completion of postgraduate clinical training (PGY-1) or > 3 years of qualifying experience required.
• Postgraduate clinical training PGY-2 preferred.
• Board certification in a Board of Pharmacy Specialties clinical specialty preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities of the pharmacy department to provide high quality pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital.
• Conducts 50%+ of professional time in direct patient care activities including rounding, patient counseling, or participation in patient care committees.
• Scope of patient care includes General Medicine/Surgical, ICU, Oncology, and Outpatient Services.
