Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Part-Time Per Diem Infusion Nurse to see patients in their homes or infusion suites. It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work in one of the metropolitan-area locations noted in the posting.

Work location is subject to change based on business needs. A Registered Nurse for Home Infusion inserts, monitors and removes an IV used to give medications, blood products and nutrition to a patient.

Qualifications

• RN license required in posting location.
• IV certification and central line care experience required.
• Minimum two years RN experience.
• Willing to travel to patient homes and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing process to schedule visits per RX and protocols.
• Coordinate SOC and nursing visits with patient and agencies.
• Document nursing notes with drugs, dosing and times.
• Teach patients and caregivers to perform Home Infusion as prescribed.
• Prepare clinical records and care plans for each visit.
