Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an Infusion Nurse II to coordinate and provide intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite. You will work under supervision to ensure patient safety within a physician’s plan of care, delivering medications, education, and hands-on nursing support.

This role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of nursing experience, with travel up to 100% for home infusion visits.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, and implements intermediate nursing plan of care treatments, evaluating patient progress towards goals.
• Assesses patient needs and physical status at each skilled visit and communicates changes to physicians.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s as needed to ensure patient safety and compliance.
• Provides effective patient and family education to enable independence with prescribed therapy.
