The Infusion Nurse II coordinates intermediate direct patient care in the home or infusion suite under a physician’s plan, with structured supervision to maintain safety and compliance. Responsibilities include administering treatments, educating patients and caregivers, updating plans per patient status, and ensuring thorough clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and provides intermediate nursing care in home or alternate infusion suite.
• Assesses patient status and revises plan of care with physician orders as needed.
• Provides training and mentorship to Infusion Nurse I’s for safety and compliance.
• Communicates with clinical teams, physicians, patients, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Documents care in real-time and prepares discharge summaries with clear patient instructions.
