Job summary

AOM Infusion in Dallas/Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse, Independent Contractor, to deliver patient-centered home and specialty infusion care. You will assess patients, collaborate with the in-house RN team, manage IV access, educate families, and ensure care plans align with physician orders.

This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered as a registered nurse in the States where practicing.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least one year of RN experience, preferably in home infusion.
• Pediatric home infusion experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infusion access devices (peripheral, PICC, CVAD).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary patient care per physician orders and plan of care.
• Assess and document patients' biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs.
• Coordinate with in-house RN staff to implement care plans.
• Maintain IV access devices and report issues.
• Complete charting and documentation on iPad; obtain patient signatures.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control guidelines.
