Job summary

Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. seeks an Infusion Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Team. The RN acts as a clinical assistant to the providers, greeting patients, taking vitals, answering questions, and preparing them for IV infusions.

You will work with the Infusion MA and providers in a busy clinic, maintaining a sterile environment, managing inventory, and supporting charting and patient confidentiality. RN degree and IV experience are required.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school.
• IV experience in the last 2 years.
• RN experience in the last 2 years.
• High-level dedication to excellent patient care and teamwork.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and sign in Infusion patients according to established protocols.
• Assist Infusion patients to ensure questions about medications are answered.
• Answer incoming calls and handle inquiries.
• Schedule/Reschedule Infusion appointments as needed.
• Assist with charting and recording infusion vitals/administration/IVs/medications.
• Obtain vitals before, during, and after infusion; draw labs if needed.
• Administer injections or IV as requested.
• Maintain sterile environment and drug inventory.
