Arizona Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates, P.C. seeks an Infusion Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Infusion Team. The LPN works with Infusion RNs to greet patients, take vitals, prepare them for visits, and support IV infusions.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN in good standing.
• BLS Certified.
• Good oral and written communication, detail orientation, and multitasking in a fast-paced medical office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and sign in infusion patients per protocols.
• Schedule/reschedule infusion appointments as needed.
• Assist with charting and recording vitals/administration.
• Perform verbal pre-infusion questionnaire with patient.
• Obtain vitals including weight prior to, during, and after infusion.
• Draw labs per protocols for medications given.
• Administer injections as ordered.
• Insert and remove IV lines with proper documentation.
• Administer pre-mixed medications.
• Maintain sterile environment and inventory.
• Obtain external orders and records as needed.
• Respond to information requests and keep area neat.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
