Job summary

Arcare seeks a skilled Infusion Nurse to provide direct patient care, including administering medications and infusion therapies, while monitoring patient conditions and coordinating with the Nurse Manager and clinical team.

The ideal candidate has active RN or LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of infusion experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and EMR systems. A collaborative, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and chart patient conditions, noting changes and responding to adverse reactions
• Administer prescribed medications and intravenous fluids, recording details accurately
• Measure and document vital signs such as height, weight, blood pressure, and respiration
• Collect patient samples, including blood, as needed for testing
• Educate patients on health maintenance, adoption of healthy behaviors, and available community resources
• Assist in coordinating smooth transitions of care across multiple settings
• Efficiently use health information systems to manage and improve patient care
• Incorporate quality indicators and patient-specific variables into care plans
• Discharge patients following the completion of therapies
• Participate in team meetings and training to stay current on best practices and compliance requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned
