Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to support the clinical launch of new infusion centers in Chesterfield, MO. This part-time role (~8 hours/week) emphasizes patient safety, high-quality care, and operational excellence within an outpatient/infusion setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with providers, patient communication, handling clinical escalations, prescribing select medications, and onboarding Medicare patients.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri NP license.
• Minimum 2 years outpatient or infusion care.
• Experience with IV therapy is preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure care delivery and plan of care communication.
• Communicate with patients across scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, and status updates.
• Resolve clinical escalations in line with policies and procedures.
• Prescribe select medications per patient needs, protocols, and organizational guidelines.
• Onboard Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation.
