Job summary

Alivia Health, LLC is seeking a Medical Inventory & Delivery Specialist in Guaynabo/Ponce area to manage inventory, storage, preparation, and delivery of medical and surgical materials for home infusion services. You will ensure medication integrity and oversee transportation from dispensing to patient delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics or distribution, pharmacy business, medical and surgical supplies, healthcare services, delivery or transportation of medical products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control, organization, and availability of the inventory of medical and surgical materials, equipment, and supplies used in infusion services.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and store sterile and non-sterile materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare, select, organize, and dispense the medical and surgical materials, equipment, and supplies required for infusion cases.
• Verify that the quantities and items prepared correspond to the needs of the case.
• Receive medications for transport that have been previously dispensed, verified, and packaged by authorized pharmacy staff.
• Transport and deliver medications without opening, modifying, altering, or tampering with the packaging prepared by the Pharmacy.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of the medication throughout the entire transportation process.
• Inspect the assigned vehicle at the beginning of each shift.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in proper condition for the transportation of medications and medical supplies.
• Comply with the policies and procedures of Alivia Health and Alivia Infusion Services.
• Comply with applicable regulations regarding the handling and transportation of medications and medical-surgical materials.
