Job summary

InfuCare Rx, a leading home infusion provider, seeks an Intake Authorization Coordinator to manage benefits verification, authorizations, and patient financial counseling, collaborating with caregivers, physicians, and the care team.

Under the Director, Intake-Authorization, you will ensure accurate guidelines, obtain necessary certs of medical necessity, and maintain compliant records, contributing to high-value patient care in home infusion services.

Qualifications

• Experience with insurance coverage for infusion and authorization.
• Experience with prior authorizations and certificates of medical necessity.
• Experience with infusion pharmacy management software.
• Excellent record-keeping and confidentiality.
• Ability to work with care team and patients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Verify benefits and obtain authorizations.
• Coordinate with caregivers, physicians, and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and patient data.
• Assist with handling phone calls and office duties.
• Support revenue team with insurance billing and collections.
