Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking an experienced Infusion Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled infusion therapy and nursing care to patients in their homes. The Infusion RN administers IV meds, monitors responses, manages vascular access, and educates patients and caregivers on infusion therapies and disease management.

The ideal candidate is clinically skilled, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Experience with IV therapy and vascular access management.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, hydration therapy, antibiotics and other infusion treatments.
• Perform pre-infusion, ongoing and post-infusion assessments.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and case managers.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and disease management.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
