Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients needing infusion or enteral therapy.
• Communicate with pharmacists to determine drug delivery methods and resolve needs.
• Conduct patient resupply calls and assess supply requirements.
• Ensure payer guidelines and regulatory standards for resupply.
• Accurately enter data for orders and maintain patient records.
• Obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance coverage.
• Identify nursing care needs and coordinate homehealth services.
• Monitor supply or medication usage and resolve shipping/service issues.
• Collaborate with referrals, clinical teams, and inventory for efficient service.
• Participate in quality assurance and documentation for billing.
