Job summary

Corewell Health seeks a nursing technician to support the care team. Under supervision of an RN or Provider, you will perform basic skills, coordinate with the team, and contribute to accurate documentation of patient care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered support, adherence to clinical policies, and safe, cost-effective care practices within the Oncology department at St Joseph – Niles and St Joseph Hospital campuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification from AHA (90 days).
• BLS Certification from ARC (90 days).

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patient needs in coordination with RN/Provider.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision per policies and procedures.
• Articulates the nursing technician role to patients and health team members.
• Cleans patient environment and reports equipment issues.
• Upholds privacy, confidentiality, and data security.
