Job summary

LUX Infusion in Lincoln, NE is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Infusion Clinic Nurse (RN) to join our patient-centered team. This full-time role focuses on delivering safe infusion therapy and coordinating care across providers.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license in Nebraska, have 2+ years of infusion or critical care experience, and are comfortable traveling locally to support patient care. CPR and IV/central line skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and experience with central line management.
• 2+ years of RN experience, preferably in infusion therapy or critical care.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a care team.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs.
• Provide central line care, including PICCs, ports, and midlines.
• Administer prescribed infusion therapies, medications, and blood products.
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and complete nursing assessments.
• Educate patients and caregivers about infusion therapy and IV care.
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate care and communicate with patients, families, providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with clinical, safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
