Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking an experienced Ambulatory Infusion Clinic Nurse (RN) to support patients in an infusion suite and other care settings as needed. This per diem role requires travel to support patients locally.

Qualified candidates will hold an active RN license, a nursing degree, IV certification, and 2+ years RN experience in home infusion, critical care, ED, or related fields. CPR and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and central line management experience.
• 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.
• Bachelor’s degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line care
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
