Atrium Health is seeking a pharmacist for M-F (1st shift) PRN infusion clinic coverage in Winston-Salem, NC. You will verify medication orders, check infusions on-site, and implement proactive rounding with nursing staff up to a week ahead of infusions.

You will mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the care team on pharmacotherapy and safety initiatives in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification as applicable.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.

Aufgaben

• Verify 100% of medication orders in infusion therapy plans.
• On-site checking of 100% of prepared infusion preparations.
• Implement pre-rounding with nursing and technicians up to 7 days ahead of scheduled infusions.
• Support revenue integrity through proper authorization and procurement methods.
• Provide on-site clinical and operational support to staff and patients.
• Design and evaluate pharmacotherapeutic regimens based on literature.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy, Adverse effects, and administration.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Mentor pharmacy teammates, residents and students as assigned.
• Oversee storage and handling of medications and participate in safety/QI activities.
