Job summary

Elevance Health in Austin, TX, seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner for Paragon Infusion Centers. This PRN role requires work at the posted location with a minimum of 1–2 shifts per week.

You will administer therapies, perform patient assessments, complete admissions, document in the medical record, and communicate with the IV team. The position supports HIPAA compliance and participation in quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MS in Nursing required with active NP certification.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Multi-state licensure required if practicing in multiple states.
• Experience with IV therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber orders and facility policy.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Performs physical assessments for patients and new consults as warranted.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient medical record.
• Communicates changes and follows up with the Center Director and IV team.
• Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Evaluates patient response to therapy and records findings.
• Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.
• Participates in Quality Improvement programs.
