Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Austin is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN) to manage patient care within their scope of practice. Responsibilities include administering therapies, documenting patient data, and effective communication within the IV team. Qualifications

• Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current, active, valid NP license required.
• Multi-state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order.
• Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.
• Documents all pertinent data in the patient’s medical record.
• Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.

Medication mixing and infusion

Ability to obtain credentialing with major payors

Infusion reaction management
