Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner for Paragon Infusion Centers in Austin, TX. The role delivers IV therapies, performs patient assessments, documents in the medical record, and educates patients in a clinic setting with periodic travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires an MS in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with IVs required.
• Current, active, valid and unrestricted NP license to practice within the scope of license.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
• Multi-state licensure is required if providing services in multiple states.
• TB test and Hepatitis B vaccine or waiver.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapies per prescriber order and facility protocols.
• Completes admission process and conducts physical assessments.
• Documents data in the patient’s medical record and ensures accuracy.
• Educates patients and families about therapy plans and follow-up.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and participates in Quality Improvement.
