South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Practice Coordinator II for the infusion unit. This role handles patient check-in, complex scheduling for chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and coordination with nursing and other departments to ensure timely, accurate patient flow.

The position requires 4–6 years of experience in medical administration or similar, an Associate degree, and strong Epic scheduling skills. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30–6:00.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to carry out complex scheduling and multitask in a fast-paced infusion unit.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication abilities are needed.
• Proficiency with hospital scheduling systems (Epic) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients and schedule multiple complex appointments for chemotherapy/immunotherapy and supportive care.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff and other departments to ensure accurate scheduling and patient flow.
• Manage direct communication with patients and family members; update scheduling changes promptly.
