Mount Carmel Home Infusion is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding and program management Pharmacy Tech.

The Tech will perform Sterile Compounding, Inventory control, and regulatory compliance.

This position is Monday - Friday at MCE.

*** Preference for Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT), but not required.***

Position Purpose:

The Lead provides support for the interview process, evaluation process, establishing schedules, and adjusting/communicating assignments.

Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Education: High School or GED required
• Licensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Experience: Minimum 2 years, with 3-5 years in hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Effective Communication Skills
• Thorough knowledge of supervision and onboarding principles and practices
• Extensive experience in pharmacy operations; proficiency with internet-based applications
• Excel skills preferred
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, organize and review work of others
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness to improve quality and safety

• Oversee technician training, development, and deficiency correction.
• Review and assist with operational policies and standard work instructions.
• Assist in monitoring regulatory compliance (quality assurance, safety, USP standards, joint commission standards, etc.).
