Mount Carmel Home Infusion is seeking an experienced Sterile Compounding and program management Pharmacy Tech.

The Tech will perform Sterile Compounding, Inventory control, regulatory compliance.

This position is Monday - Friday at MCE.

*** Preference for Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT), but not required.***

Position Purpose:

The Lead provides support for the interview process, evaluation process, establishing schedules, and adjusting/communicating assignments.

Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Education: High School or GED required
• Licensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Experience: Minimum 2 years, with 3-5 years in hospital pharmacy preferred.
• Effective Communication Skills
• Thorough knowledge of supervision and onboarding principles and practices
• Experience in all pharmacy operational areas; proficiency with internet-based applications
• Excel proficiency preferred
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage deadlines, organize and review work of others
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness to continually improve quality and safety

• Assist with monitoring regulatory compliance (quality assurance, safety, USP 797/800, USP 795, joint commission standards, etc).
