Required are an active RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and 2+ years of nursing with leadership experience preferred; BSN is preferred. Schedule is days, 7a–5p, 8-hour shifts in dual-location facilities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience; 1 year supervisory/leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative responsibility for department service functions and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees orientation and training of personnel and communicates with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Directs, supervises, and evaluates staff; ensures efficient department operations and use of time/equipment.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice and adjusts care plans as required.
