Job summary

fal is expanding its compute footprint and seeking a hands-on Vendor Manager to own post-signature relationships with GPU infrastructure providers and other strategic compute vendors. You will translate contracts into operating requirements, track capacity and performance, and lead governance and escalation processes to safeguard delivery and renewals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in infrastructure vendor management or related function.
  • Direct experience with hyperscalers, neoclouds, GPU providers, or data-center operators.
  • Experience operationalizing complex infrastructure agreements with capacity, SLAs, service credits, renewals.
  • Track record resolving vendor-performance issues and holding strategic partners accountable.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills including invoice reconciliation and contract‑compliance tracking.
  • Ability to work with infrastructure engineering and capacity-planning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own post-signature relationships with GPU infrastructure providers, hyperscalers, neoclouds, colocation partners, and other compute vendors.
  • Translate contractual commitments into measurable SLAs, scorecards, escalation procedures, and internal operating requirements.
  • Track availability, provisioning timelines, capacity delivery, and support responsiveness.
  • Lead escalations when vendors miss commitments and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  • Pursue service credits, remedies, and corrective-action plans until resolved.
  • Run vendor governance with regular operating reviews and executive business reviews.
  • Partner with Capacity Planning and Strategic Sourcing to align committed capacity with demand forecasts.
  • Reconcile invoices against contracted pricing, delivered capacity, usage, and credits.
  • Maintain records of commitments, renewals, open claims, invoices, and obligations.
  • Build vendor-management processes and dashboards as the infrastructure footprint scales.
