Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction Manager to lead the digital transformation of our infrastructure projects in the United States. You will drive VDC/BIM adoption, develop and validate 3D models, and work with field teams to ensure design coherence and constructability across the lifecycle.

The role requires a engineering degree and 10+ years in a digital build environment, with proficiency in Procore, BIM tools, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 10+ years of digital build experience in construction.
• Proven track record leading teams and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM integration across infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with field teams to validate VDC models.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize 3D models for simulations and sequencing.
• Align model development with estimating, operations, and sustainability.
• Set and maintain VDC/BIM standards for quality and efficiency.
• Identify clashes early and drive resolution in design.
• Lead model hand-offs for digital twin development.
• Prepare 3D visualizations and narratives for proposals.
