Job summary
Consor is seeking an Utility Coordinator to review transportation improvement plans for utility conflicts and coordinate with utility owners. You will act as a liaison between design teams, contractors, and utilities to keep projects on schedule and within budget while addressing relocation impacts.
Responsibilities include developing conflict matrices, revising plans with engineers, and preparing intercompany agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline.
- Working experience or exposure to Utility Coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in MicroStation or ORD software.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Outdoor work environments including weather, heat, noise, etc.
- Physical demands including lifting up to 35 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a utility conflict matrix to manage project activities.
- Collaborate with design engineers to minimize utility conflicts and revise transportation improvement plans.
- Prepare agreements between utility companies and client partners.
- Develop utility correspondence logs and track due dates, downloads, and responses for major requests.
- Track and update project charts to ensure relocations are on schedule and notify dependent utilities.
