Job Opening: Dynatrace Developer (Onsite in Phoenix, AZ)

CTG is seeking to fill a Dynatrace Developer position onsite in Phoenix, AZ. This is a 12-month contract role, and candidates must reside in Phoenix, AZ, with an in-person interview required. This position is W2 only.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage observability frameworks using Dynatrace and other tools.
• Configure and support Dynatrace components including ActiveGates, OneAgents, and CSI Drivers.
• Support enterprise-level monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed observability practices into DevOps pipelines.
• Evaluate and deploy observability solutions from vendors like OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Sahara, and OpenSearch.
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible and Puppet for observability deployments.
• Operate within RHEL and Kubernetes environments to ensure robust cloud application performance.
• Contribute to automation testing and test plan development.
• Assist with public cloud observability projects as needed.

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including full lifecycle design and deployment.
• Strong understanding of observability tools such as Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Sahara, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in RHEL, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Puppet.
• Ability to develop standardized monitoring, logging, and alerting methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical capabilities in complex infrastructure environments.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of enterprise experience with Dynatrace.
• Proven expertise in observability strategies for large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience with public cloud observability tools is advantageous.
• Experience in writing and maintaining test automation is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required for professional interaction.
