Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for a new Medicaid MES module aligned with program goals and regulations.
• Oversee and guide technical implementation of FAS capabilities within MES.
• Ensure solutions comply with CMS guidelines, MITA maturity, interoperability, and modularity requirements.
• Lead architectural reviews and assess solution implementation for enterprise alignment.
• Evaluate integration needs across modules like Eligibility, Enrollment, Provider Services, Third Party Liability, Pharmacy, and Data Warehousing.

Role and Responsibilities

• The FAS Solution Architect serves as a technical lead responsible for overseeing, governing, and guiding a new Fiscal Agent Services (FAS) technology solution that supports the Medicaid enterprise system and its business operations. This role works closely with business stakeholders, program leadership, vendors, and technical teams to ensure solutions align with Medicaid Program goals, federal and state regulations, enterprise architecture standards, and modernization initiatives.
• Oversee and guide technical implementation of anew Fiscal Agent Services module, as part of the Medicaid Enterprise System(MES) system
• Ensure solutions align with CMS (Centers forMedicare & Medicaid Services) guidelines, MITA maturity goals,interoperability standards, and federal modularity requirements.
• Lead architectural reviews, assess solution implementation, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technical policies.

Minimum Qualification

• Considerable knowledge of technologies such as: Node.js, Java, Angular, React, Python, REST, JSON, XML, X12, FHIR, HTML5
• Considerable knowledge of databases, ETL tools, relational databases, SharePoint, X12, and legacy programming.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration, service oriented architecture, APIs, cloud computing, ETL and modular system design
• Prior work with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
