Job summary

Cal Poly Humboldt seeks an Administrator II, Director of Infrastructure, to lead ITS Infrastructure Services, including networks, systems, and datacenter operations. You will shape strategic roadmaps, manage budgets, and supervise teams to deliver secure, reliable campus infrastructure.

The role emphasizes governance, project leadership, and collaboration with Facilities and campus stakeholders to ensure scalable services and compliance with CSU standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible professional experience in IT infrastructure.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience coordinating enterprise infrastructure services.
• No specific licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, personnel, technical, and budgetary leadership for Infrastructure Services.
• Lead Telecommunications and Network Services, Systems Administration, and Campus datacenter infrastructure.
• Oversee enterprise and research computing infrastructure and related services.
• Ensure infrastructure services are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Develop and manage budgets and vendor relationships; monitor lifecycle planning.
