A Day in the Life

As an Infrastructure Security Service Technician, you will maintain project-specific systems including computers, data networks, digital video recorders, power supplies, fiber optics, and cabling within a designated US region. Your responsibilities include installing, updating, and maintaining hardware and software, managing asset records, and troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues using advanced diagnostic tools.

You will work independently, utilizing your interpersonal skills to maintain tools, test equipment, and vehicles, complete logbooks, timesheets, expense reports, and prepare status reports. You will also attend training sessions to enhance your technical skills.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in information technology or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunication systems, circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment.
• Understanding of computer hardware, software, data networks, digital video systems, fiber optics, and electronics fundamentals.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary government security clearances.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to secure a US passport or passport card.
• Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time to remote US locations.
