Job summary

BackOps is seeking an engineering leader to run the Infrastructure and Security team. You will own the reliability and security posture of all BackOps systems as the company scales, shaping the team and its roadmap.

You will hire, mentor, and grow top-tier engineers, integrate security into engineering workstreams, and translate risk into actions for executives and customers. You’ll operate with a high bar for measurable outcomes and maintain a sustainable pace.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience leading infrastructure and security teams at scale.
• Strong background in cloud-native stacks (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD).
• Proven ability to translate high-stakes mandates into sequenced, measurable deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and security posture across BackOps' infra and services.
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers; hire and coach.
• Integrate security into engineering workflows; build CI/CD guardrails.
