Job summary

BackOps is seeking a hands-on Product Security Engineer to own the security of the BackOps product end to end. You will define guardrails and work with engineering to ensure secure design, implementation, and deployment.

You will lead authentication, multi-tenant isolation, and vulnerability management, building scalable security practices that support rapid growth across customer deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product or application security engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant isolation.
• Web and API security across OWASP Top 10 classes.
• Experience with SAST/DAST/Secrets scanning in CI.

Responsibilities

• Own product security end to end for the BackOps product.
• Define agent permissions and boundary controls.
• Implement secure SDLC with design/code reviews and CI scanning.
• Lead enterprise security reviews and pentests.
• Coordinate vulnerability disclosure and fix prioritization.
• Collaborate with engineering to ship secure features.
