Job summary

Sandia Resort & Casino is seeking an IT professional to support cyber security, datacenter and network infrastructure. You will work with the Director of IT to design, implement and maintain systems, ensuring security, data integrity and 100% uptime.

The role requires on-call rotation, strong communication, project management and documentation skills, plus experience with Windows/Linux servers, Cisco gear and security tools.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in a 24x7 environment and be part of an on-call rotation.
• Strong customer interface, service and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and monitor system performance.
• Demonstrates commitment to IT organization and team goals.
• Follow detailed instructions from supervisors.
• Able to speak clearly in public and create reports.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server/Desktop, Exchange, and Linux.
• Knowledge of Cisco switches/routers/firewall and network security tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Team player with collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Director with design, implementation and maintenance of Cyber Security, Datacenter and Network Infrastructure.
• Provide regular status reports regarding network security, software versions, data integrity and disaster recovery.
• Plan and coordinate installation/maintenance of LAN/WAN for Sandia Casino and Pueblo.
• Document updates and changes to server and network topology.
• Ensure 100% uptime of networks and servers; manage backups per controls.
• Adhere to IT internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct periodic KPI reviews and participate in stand-up meetings.
• Maintain server and network security posture and patch management.
• Serve as a mentor for IT staff and casino employees.
