Job summary

HNTB's Rocky Hill, CT office is seeking a Project Manager I – Engineering to lead transportation infrastructure projects from scope through delivery. You will manage the project plan, budget, schedule, and client communications, coordinating with cross-discipline teams and partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 8 years of relevant experience, plus 2 years of task management or Deputy PM exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years task management or Deputy PM experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation; assist in technical proposals and contracts.
• Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification, and production.
• Implement the project delivery plan using SDA; develop and execute the project management plan; mentor the team.
• Coordinate staffing, recruitment, performance reviews, and staff reporting.
• Lead proposal development and interview presentations for strategic projects; support client relations.
• Oversee recruitment and retention of staff; perform other duties as assigned.
