Job summary

Sprezzatura is seeking a Product Manager to join the VA.gov Platform Infrastructure Services Team. This remote role within the United States leads the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of infrastructure products and services that power VA.gov, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability for millions of Veterans.

You will own the product vision and backlog for infrastructure services, work with government stakeholders and engineering teams, and translate complex needs into actionable

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for technical products, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or internal engineering services.
• Strong product management skills including strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, backlog management, and Agile delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog for VA.gov Platform Infrastructure Services
• Establish clear product goals and measurable outcomes for infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, performance, and developer experience
• Develop a deep understanding of the infrastructure products and services VA.gov engineering teams depend on
• Translate engineering needs, operational risks, user research, Platform strategy, and government priorities into actionable product initiatives
• Balance investments across new capabilities, modernization, reliability, technical debt, security, operational improvements, and developer experience
• Identify dependencies and sequencing across major infrastructure initiatives
• Communicate Infrastructure Services priorities and roadmap decisions to Platform leadership, engineering teams, and government stakeholders
• Treat cloud infrastructure, deployment environments, shared services, and infrastructure tooling as products used by engineering teams across VA.gov
• Build strong relationships with government stakeholders, engineering leadership, Platform teams, and teams building on VA.gov
