Qualifications

• Monitoring performance of middleware infrastructure.
• Creating documentation related to middleware configuration.
• Working with various teams for seamless integration of applications.
• Planning for future needs of the middleware infrastructure.
• Ensuring compliance with security standards.

Overview

The US Group Infrastructure Services (EIS) team provides global first line support of Nomura’s Infrastructure Services. The applicant must be highly motivated, have good communication skills, work with other stakeholders effectively at the firm and able to support middleware infrastructure in a high pressure trading floor environment. We are looking for a candidate that is capable of working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing support and advice to strategic IT teams with regard to the use of Middleware products.
• Administering and supporting the Middleware Messaging environments.
• Testing and upgrading the Middleware environments throughout the US.
• Providing FTS support for Middleware globally
• Installing and configuring middleware messaging software like Solace, MQ, EMS, RV, NDM and MFT.
• Maintaining the middleware environment, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
