Job summary

Steward Partners Global Advisory seeks an Infrastructure Manager to own the strategy, delivery, security, resiliency, and operation of enterprise technology infrastructure and support services. You will lead teams responsible for Help Desk, Azure, M365, Entra, networking, security operations, backup, and disaster recovery.

The Senior Director will develop infrastructure strategies to support growth, cybersecurity objectives, and advisor experience initiatives, overseeing a blended workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive technology infrastructure and operations experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networking, or technical support.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams, MSPs, and offshore contractors.
• Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra with Zero Trust controls.
• Strong knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, firewalls.

Position Overview

The Infrastructure Manger is responsible for the strategy, delivery, security, resiliency, and operational excellence of Steward Partners' enterprise technology infrastructure and support services.

This role leads the teams and partners responsible for Help Desk operations, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra identity services, enterprise networking, security operations, backup and recovery services, and disaster recovery capabilities. The Senior Director develops and executes infrastructure strategies that support the firm's growth, cybersecurity objectives, operational resiliency, and advisor experience initiatives.

The role oversees a blended workforce consisting of employees, managed service providers, and offshore contractors and serves as a key technology partner to leadership across Operations, Information Security, Compliance, and business functions. The successful candidate will ensure that technology services remain secure, reliable, scalable, compliant, and aligned with the needs of a growing financial services organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Technology Operations

• Provide leadership and oversight for enterprise technology infrastructure, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, networking, endpoint management, backup and recovery services, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Ensure technology platforms are secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, automation, operational improvement, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Oversee enterprise network operations, infrastructure monitoring, system availability, performance management, and operational support functions.

End User Services & Support

• Oversee Help Desk and Support Center operations to ensure a high-quality technology experience for advisors and associates.
• Establish service levels, support standards, and operational performance metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery, user satisfaction, service automation, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective support coverage through a combination of internal staff, managed services, and offshore resources.
• Provide executive oversight of managed Security Operations Center (SOC) services and enterprise security monitoring capabilities.
• Oversee SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions supporting cloud, identity, network, endpoint, and infrastructure services.
• Ensure appropriate infrastructure controls support cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity objectives.
• Oversee backup, restoration, recovery testing, resiliency planning, and disaster recovery programs.
• Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to manage technology risk and support regulatory requirements.
• Manage strategic technology vendors, managed service providers, SOC providers, and offshore contractors.
• Establish service expectations, governance processes, performance standards, and service level agreements.
• Ensure third-party partners effectively support Steward Partners' operational and strategic objectives.
• Foster effective collaboration, knowledge transfer, accountability, and operational consistency across globally distributed teams.
• Develop and execute the enterprise infrastructure strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure teams and future technology leaders.
• Manage budgets, licensing, vendor contracts, and technology investments.
• Provide regular reporting and recommendations to executive leadership regarding technology performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive technology infrastructure and operations experience.
• 5+ years leading enterprise infrastructure, cloud services, networking, technology operations, or technical support organizations.
• Demonstrated experience managing geographically distributed teams, managed service providers, and offshore contractors.

• Demonstrated experience implementing, deploying, governing, or leading enterprise SIEM platforms and security monitoring solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, Sumo Logic, Elastic, or similar SIEM technologies.
• Experience integrating cloud, identity, endpoint, network, and infrastructure telemetry into centralized monitoring and alerting platforms.
• Experience working with Security Operations Centers (SOC) and managed security service providers.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity operations, threat detection, incident response, logging, monitoring, and security governance.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless networking, and firewalls.
• Experience administering and securing Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra environments, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Zero Trust security controls.
• Experience leading backup strategy, restoration testing, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
• Strong vendor management, project leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and executive engagement skills.

Preferred

• Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience supporting organizations subject to SEC, FINRA, SOC 2, NIST, or NY DFS cybersecurity requirements.
• ITIL Certification.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.
• Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Certification.
• CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GCIH, GSOC, or comparable security certifications.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.

Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance of Steward Partners' Florham Park, New Jersey office and be able to maintain a regular onsite presence to support leadership responsibilities, strategic planning, vendor engagements, technology initiatives, and collaboration with business stakeholders. Steward Partners promotes a flexible work environment. Remote work is available when business, operational, project, or leadership requirements do not necessitate an in‑office presence.
